The Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (Poli-USP) received, on the 27th, a visit from former student Yosuke Alexandre Yamashiki, who is now a full professor at Kyoto University, at the Graduate School of Advanced Integrated Studies in Human Survivability (GSAIS). The academic was welcomed by the professors of Poli-USP Alexandre Kawano and Henrique Lindenberg Neto, who chairs the International Relations Committee of the School, to discuss possible partnerships with his university in the scope of internationalization.
Yosuke completed his master’s degree in the postgraduate program in Civil Engineering, completed in 1994, specializing in Hydraulic and Sanitary Engineering. The lecturer, who is acting as a visiting professor at USP, highlighted the positive view about the university in the international academic community, especially of Poli in the area of Engineering. He said that the relevance of the School leads the institutions to seek to interact with the best students.
